Abstract

Teleworking is a form of work in which tasks are performed in locations other than the company's conventional physical environment and has gained increasing importance today, driven by the progress of technology and changes in work dynamics. This remote work activity has emerged as a relevant practice in contemporary times, driven by both the COVID-19 pandemic and the labor reform, demanding reflection on its impacts and its integration into the work context. This study aims to analyze the relevance of teleworking today, considering the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and labor reform, with the aim of understanding its implications on the labor market and workers' lives. To achieve the proposed objectives, a bibliographical review will be carried out on teleworking, its historical evolution and its relations with the COVID-19 pandemic and labor reform. Given the analysis carried out, it is concluded that teleworking has assumed unprecedented relevance today, driven both by the need to adapt during the pandemic and by the legal changes introduced by the labor reform. Its role in the labor market tends to consolidate, requiring a continuous review of labor policies and companies adapting to new work dynamics.
