Abstract

This study aims to analyze good management practices as fundamental mechanisms for preventing and combating private corruption, considering different levels of governance within the Brazilian business context. The research addresses the inherent complexity of the interaction between various levels of governance, from the corporate sphere, through stakeholder networks, to state institutions, which directly and indirectly influence the business environment. Given this complexity, a multidisciplinary and in-depth approach was required to understand and tackle the challenges posed by private corruption. A qualitative methodology was employed, combining literature review, document analysis, and case studies in representative companies within the sector. The research results highlight the relevance of multi-level governance and good management practices as pillars in preventing corruption, reinforcing the importance of cooperation, transparency, and accountability at all levels of governance. Additionally, it is emphasized that such practices are essential to promote sustainable development and ensure social justice in Brazil, strengthening the integrity of the business environment and contributing to a more ethical and responsible future.
