Abstract

This manuscript investigates the transformation of the legal system in light of technological innovations driven by the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The study aims to explore how emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data, and robotics, are redefining Digital Law and the administration of justice. The methodology adopted is applied in nature, with a qualitative approach and bibliographic technical procedure, using analysis of books, doctrines, and material available on government websites. The research reveals that Justice 4.0, through digitalization and technological integration, promotes greater efficiency, accessibility, and sustainability in the judiciary. However, the complexity of personal, impersonal, and semi-personal data requires rigorous practices of anonymization and pseudonymization to protect individual privacy. It concludes that the legal system must evolve alongside technological innovations, ensuring the protection of fundamental rights and fostering a more agile and inclusive justice system. Justice 4.0, therefore, is not merely a response to modernization needs but a reimagination of the role of justice in the digital age, committed to delivering efficient and accessible judicial services.
