Abstract
The objective of this research was to analyze the possibility of adopting in the Brazilian legal system, the use of Testosterone Antagonist Therapy, popularly called chemical castration, and, thus, verify whether it is possible, through it, to reduce or control the alarming cases of sexual violence against women, children or people who are in a vulnerable state. The methodology used in this research is the deductive method; In terms of means, the research was bibliographic, using doctrine, legislation and qualitative purposes. The conclusion reached was that there are conditions for the adoption of hormonal inhibitors, without offending the dignity of the human person, with the maintenance of the integrity of prisoners and without apparent conflict of norms, through the voluntary choice of castration for repeat offenders of sexual offenses. serious, however, it is important to always be accompanied by a medical report and follow-up, remembering that this treatment using testosterone-inhibiting hormones is reversible.
