Abstract
This paper addresses the contribution of Soviet legal thought, especially through Piotr Stutchka, to the understanding of law from a Marxist perspective. Marxist legal thought innovates by analyzing the legal phenomenon from concrete social relations rather than from abstract categories. Stutchka is highlighted as an important theorist who explores how the mode of production influences and is influenced by the legal system, seeking to understand law in its concreteness through the forms of law in a system of social relations. The proposal is to investigate whether Stutchka's theory can overcome the "pseudo-concreteness" of law, offering a more dynamic and totalizing view of the legal phenomenon. The paper also aims to analyze Stutchka's methodology to understand whether he can be considered a central figure in the interpretation of law from a Marxist perspective, providing a theoretical-methodological approach that seeks the "appropriation of the world" and the understanding of the "thing in itself."
