DA FUNÇÃO SOCIAL À RESPONSABILIDADE SOCIOAMBIENTAL DA EMPRESA E SUA CORRELAÇÃO COM O PACTO GLOBAL DOS OBJETIVOS DE DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL(ODS) DA ORGANIZAÇÃO DAS NAÇÕES UNIDAS (ONU)

Abstract

Among the socio-environmental obligations required of the business community and the company today, there is the challenge of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations (UN) by the year 2030. Based on some of these objectives, the article has the problem of verifying the existence or not of corporate social responsibility in accordance with the UN SDGs, especially SDGs 2 (zero hunger and sustainable agriculture), 8 (decent work and economic growth), 10 (reducing inequality within and between countries), 12 (responsible consumption and production) and 17 (Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development). Through bibliographic research and the use of the theoretical-deductive method, it is aimed at the construction of the appropriate response, through the evaluation of the normative foundation of the social function of the company, including and especially from the perspective of the 1988 Constitution, the verification of corporate social responsibility, and, finally, the examination of the socio-environmental sustainability of the business activity and its correlation with the global pact of the sustainable development goals.
